    no hamish, would much rather have the old scot than some new swanky carbon superlight 47 speed bike anytime !!!
    pop down to the shop and you can take it for a wee spin sometime !!
    it might just change your mind….

    Would love to try it, Joe. However, you are a good few miles away and I’m too busy riding my 1974 Scot (high tech compared to yours). It replaced the one that a certain George McGregor supplied (very late Scot) to me and was half-inched in America.
