The bikes were ready for us, first thing in the morning and were in perfect condition. The bikes were extremely good value, and were robust enough to tackle certain N7 roads which were not tarred. Joe the owner was super friendly and made sure we had any extra equipement and tools necessary. His can do and solicitous attitude gave my cycling hoilday the perfect start. A credit to Glasgow!

They were just right, new and well equipped for emergency repairs. Friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located near Kelvingrove Park. We biked all over Glasgow and beyond using the Komoot app. So fun! Highly recommend Gear Bikes! And Komoot app. Happy biking!

A Ridgeback Vanteo hybrid / road touring bike with a Topeak rear pannier rack and two bottle cages, in sizes Small to XX-Large.
Small fits 152–162cm, Medium 162–173cm, Large 172–178cm, X-Large 178–185cm and XX-Large 185–195cm. The chart overlaps at the edges, so if you're between two sizes, message us before you book.
A helmet and padlock come free with every bike (tick the boxes when you book), plus two bottle cages and free luggage storage at the shop.
Yes, for free, with no limit, while you're out on the bike.
Yes. A pair of Ortlieb panniers (2 × 20 litres) is £5.30 a day per bike, £31.80 for a week, and never more than £106.00. Book them at the same time as the bike.

Payment is taken in full when you book. Cancel at least 21 days before your hire date for a refund, less a 10% handling charge. There are no refunds for returning a bike early.
No. We can't deliver or collect hire bikes, but the shop is two minutes from Glasgow University, near Kelvinbridge subway.
No. We don't hire e-bikes, triathlon, racing, children's or mountain bikes, child seats or trailers.
